Positive: The house is located in a quiet village that doesn't have street names or numbers, but it's very easy to find on Google Maps. The location is generally peaceful and convenient, though there is a dog in the neighboring house that occasionally barks for quite a while — which can be a bit annoying, especially around 5 AM! The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with a lovely traditional Bulgarian atmosphere. There’s a large indoor fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen (except for a dishwasher), great grill facilities outside, and even a drinks fridge in the yard — which I found to be a fantastic touch! The pool is a good size, and the jacuzzi is absolutely amazing. We had no issues with mosquitoes, despite reading a comment about them beforehand. The bathrooms look brand new — it’s clear that the hosts take great care of the place. There's plenty of space for children to play, although I think the play area could use a bit of an update, as some of the equipment didn’t seem very sturdy. Communication with the hosts was flawless — quick, easy, and very friendly. Truly wonderful people! We were especially touched by the thoughtful welcome gift of homemade rakia — such a lovely and personal gesture. Thank you! Another bonus: there’s a charming local tavern (Hanche) very close by, and you can call in and order traditional Bulgarian food to pick up — we didn’t need to, since we had plenty of food, but it’s a great option to have! In summary – aside from a couple of small things, everything else was truly amazing. I wholeheartedly recommend Arnata House and sincerely congratulate the hosts for their effort and hospitality!

Negative: One thing I would have appreciated is being informed in advance about the presence of security cameras. I understand the need for safety, and I’m not particularly concerned about whether they were active or not, but transparency about it would’ve been nice. The another minus you can read above 👆
