While there is no public transportation nearby, you can drive to the town of Truckee, 14 minutes away, where you will find bus routes that will take you to Northstar Ski Resort, Kings Beach, and Tahoe City. With 3 ski resorts less than 10 miles away, you can quickly be on the slopes. For those looking for a bit more city life, both Tahoe City and Kings Beach are under a 30-minute drive away.
