Originally 140 yrs old WW1 food supply barn of Sacred Heart Hospital, was disassembled, moved and reassembled on 25 acres at front of Gypsum Mine Lake to farm 100 head of cattle.
This old barn was abandoned after having gone through 90 yrs of farming, northern cod era, offshore & inshore crab and lobster and purchased ten years ago to be repurposed a world class retreat to keep myself grounded in the now :)
This old barn was purchased to commemorate the life of my forefathers Edward a Placide Leblanc & Laurie Chiasson whom both lived on the land of Acadia at the foothills of the world famous Cape Breton Highlands at Cap Rouge and along Chéticamp River in late 1800’s.
