The Villages is located in the center of Florida, between two coastlines, ports of travel, and theme parks. Centrally located in the heart of The Villages is our cozy home! Close to Lake Sumter Landing, and less than 15 minutes to the other Town Squares, there are many options for entertainment, restaurants, pools, recreation centers, activities, nightly shows, and golf courses galore.
Our 1,187-square-foot home in the Village of Hemingway has everything you will need for a great stay at The Villages. Comfortable open floor plan, and fully furnished.

The Village of Hemingway is an excellent location if you're looking to spend some time and really experience The Villages. Numerous rec centers and swimming pools are just minutes away, as well as tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, billiards, walking trails, gyms, golf driving and putting ranges, etc. Shopping and restaurants are also nearby.
Havana Country Club including its Championship Golf Courses and Restaurant is within walking distance. The grocery store is 4 minutes away, and Lake Sumter, Brownwood, and Spanish Springs Town Squares (with nightly free entertainment) are all under 15 minutes.
Recreation:
People are very friendly and active. There are countless recreational opportunities including clubs for line dancing, archery, air rifles, softball, cards, fishing, needlework, yoga, remote control boats, karaoke, dragon boat rowing, Zumba, guitar playing, ancestry research...and a thousand other things. Practice your old hobbies and learn new ones. Nightly musical entertainment is free, but large music or theatrical ticketed entertainment shows also take place.
Golf:
There are 42 Executive Golf Courses, including three pitch & putt courses, that charge no greens fees. There are an additional 13 Championship Golf Courses that charge reduced greens fees. There is a free 18-hole Adult Miniature Golf course, four different driving ranges, practice greens/bunkers, including the Sarasota Golf Practice Center.
