Positive: Its a very pretty historical place for me , I use to have family reunions growing up at Stone Mountain so I have so many memories at the park and Ive had the buffet at The WaterSide Restaurant long ago but until this past October had never stayed at the Evergreen it was wonderful then and we had brought our grandson and he absolutely loved it. So we decided to to book the Evergreen and do the Santa Experience at Stone Mountain to let our grandson feel special. We had a few little issues with the WaterSide Restaurant and a package I had added on when I booked. But I didn't get upset and show out. We actually had a nice few where we were seated and the food was good some of the staff could be a little more friendly. Our server was sweet but she needed to be trained on policy's and things and maybe take notes on what people order. Overall if you book the WaterSide or add it to your reservation ask questions? Ask if its a buffet at the time of your booking or if its menu. Also if its a add on you should receive a card with your Name and room # and date. The Tavern we also ate there the food was Amazing and the portions were on point. It took a little while but there seem to only be 2 people working and they were doing their best and kind and attentive. No wait time. Our Room was also very nice , the beds are very comfortable the view of the lake was great its cozy and I saw lots of Cardinals that made me think of my loved ones. The balcony is beautiful day and night. Our Room was spacious and everyone that we encountered was pleasant. I see a lot of negative comments on here. People are entitled these days and dont appreciate the little things. Everything changes and to me this place is trying to keep something that's been around for years alive and I love that. If you have issues and speak to the right manager she is kind and tries to correct any issues you may have if you talk kindly to her instead of just yelling.

Negative: Somethings with the WaterSide wasn't clear but it was fixed.
