Beautiful craftsmen style home with fabulous sunset and ocean views. Situated on the west side of the island walking distance to Baders beach and the hiking trails of Mt Erskine provincial park. Only a six minute drive to the town of Ganges, an excellent location to experience all that our magical island of Saltspring has to offer.
This home has a warm and inviting open concept living area which spills onto a large ocean view deck. All the rooms are tastefully furnished and decorated, there are hardwood and tile floors through out. The living room offers high ceilings and a fabulous wall of windows that brings the outdoors in, comfortable leather couches, propane fireplace, board games and 40” flat screen TV. Oh and a piano for the musically talented.
The outside deck has been furnished with a two seater couch, two matching chairs and coffee table along with a small dining table seating 4 for alfresco dining…. the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring.
The fully equipped large shaker kitchen has stainless appliances french door/lower freezer refrigerator, dishwasher and new kitchen aid dual fuel range ….gas cook top/electric true convection oven…… The best of both worlds! and great ocean views for the cook! For indoor dining there is an expanding table that seats six to eight comfortably along with a buffet containing place mats, table cloths, napkins, candles etc.
Laundry and extra pantry space in separate room off the kitchen. New front load LG washer/dryer.
The beautiful ocean view primary bedroom has a Balinese queen canopy bed, walk in closet, 10ft ceilings and french doors to a private deck. The four piece ensuite boasts heated floors, separate shower and soaker tub which all adds to the ambience of this spacious retreat.
On the opposite side of the living area is the second bedroom which also has water views. It is spacious and bright with a queen pine sleigh bed, small closet, and nightstands.
The 2nd bedroom nook has a desk and chair office set up. The den (no closet) acts as the 3rd bedroom it is furnished with two twin beds and a dresser. The main three piece bathroom is located off the tiled entry to the house and is easily shared by these two bedrooms.
A truly inviting home away from home with ocean views from almost every room. Relax and enjoy the beauty that is Saltspring Island from the deck. The ocean, the sunsets, the forest and the wildlife.
