The sunfilled upper level has a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with wood burning fireplace, a main bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a laundry room. Off the kitchen, the upper porch is perfect for your morning coffee or tea. There is a large, expandable patio table to host your family meals. The Weber BBQ will grill your meals to perfection.
The walk-out lower level has a living room and a children's play area with toys and games. Down the hall, you will find two bedrooms, the first with a queen and the other with two double over double bunk beds. Note - the lower level sofa is a pull-out queen.
Because sleep is an important part of a relaxing and fun holiday, all the mattresses are very comfortable and the linens are tidy. (Well, the mattress on the pull-out is.....a pull-out mattress.)
The lower porch is a great place to relax, read, and/or spend time with family and friends. (There is even a beer fridge right inside the door.) Or you can have a nap in the hammock overlooking the lake.
The oversized front yard is perfect for friendly lawn games. We have many available to our guests. Near the waterfront is a fire pit with Muskoka chairs and firewood (within reason) is included. There are also swings (baby swing available), a cute playhouse, and a ropes course.
You can spend the day at the water on our oversized sunny dock enjoying water activities. There is an extra large floating mat which provides hours of fun. Dive right in off the dock into the beautiful, warm (for a lake), clean, and calm water. The lake is not stagnant and flows from and to the river.
You can enjoy water activities with our kayaks (2), stand-up paddle boards (2), peddle boat, canoe, water toys, and floats. There are life jackets for all ages and sizes. Don't miss taking a paddle down the creek at the south end of the lake.
A short paddle across from the house is a sandbar where you can have a picnic and splash around. There is a clay pit which is a huge hit with the kids.
The house is located next to walking, hiking and running trails. There are also extensive four-wheeling trails right there!
