This is an open-concept cottage, with huge windows overlooking the lake. This cottage is year round, and houses all the amenities a vacationing family needs. This property is on 1.2 acres with 160 feet of lakefront on a private and protected bay. Swimming is great for all ages, with sandy beaches and shallow water to wade in from the shore, and deep enough water to jump off the dock. Minimal boat traffic and dock wake as we are located in a private bay, and not in the open water portion of Redstone Lake. We also have a new large 20 x 20 dock that contains 6 Muskoka chairs, a picnic table, two lounge chairs and a large umbrella for shading.
This 4 bedroom cottage is well equipped with 2200 square feet of living space, sleeping 8 (1 king bed, 2 queen, 2 doubles, 2 single bed). This includes a well equipped kitchen and BBQ. Other features for guests include unlimited Starlink internet, Apple TV, Netflicks, Prime, Disney, well stocked board games, puzzles and books for all ages. We have a Tesla charger in our driveway.
Enjoy the lake and read on the dock, relax, swim, fish, and watch the sunrise. Bring your own boat (the public boat launch is 1 km away), or use our watercrafts (kayaks, paddleboat, canoe, paddle boards).
We have a natural fire pit by the lake, with 6 Muskoka chairs surrounding it. On the upper deck of the cottage (steps from the kitchen and family room), we also have a propane fire pit which also has 6 Muskoka chairs surrounding it.
We are located approximately 20 minutes from Haliburton, where you can find restaurants, grocery, galleries and stores.
We just purchased this cottage this summer, and have just listed it on the rental market. We have family on Redstone Lake and have been coming here for over two decades. Like many, we are often 'on the go' between balancing work, family and many commitments. We wanted a place where we could escape and spend time together. We look forward to creating many special memories here in the years to come, and hope that your family and friends will create beautiful memories here as well.
