The following are a summary of certain bylaws of Strata 2482 which all owners and tenants must abide
by. Violation of any of these bylaws may result in a fine of up to $200 per occurrence.
(1) An owner, tenant, occupant or visitor must not use a strata lot or the common property in a way
that
a. Causes a nuisance or hazard to another person,
b. Causes unreasonable noise (Quiet time is from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am)
c. Unreasonably interferes with the rights of other persons to use and enjoy the common
property or another strata lot
d. Is illegal.
(2) An owner, tenant, occupant or visitor shall
a. Not allow trailers, campers, boats, snowmobiles, all terrain vehicles or equipment to be
parked or stored on the Strata Lot or for a period longer than 24 hours except canoes,
kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards may be stored on, or under the deck of a cabin
b. Not allow the number of vehicles parked to exceed the number of parking spaces of that
particular cabin. All short-term guests should park within their host’s cabin allotted
parking or in designated ‘visitor parking’ spaces provided and should at no time park
along the main road. Offending vehicles will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s
expense
c. Not allow any dog on the common property unless leashed and under appropriate
control
d. Not keep any dangerous dog, or a dog of the Doberman, Rottweiler, or Pit Bull breeds.
