The Space:
Field Lodge lies within the original Loyalist Settlers’ Estate of the Pettit family, who settled Prince Edward County in 1799. The property sits on an acre of land with plenty of outside space, gardens front and back, a separate fire pit area, and an 800 sq ft west-facing deck with barbecue – ideal for outside dining. All 14 can sit together at the extra long outdoor dining table - how about celebrating Christmas in July?!
Decorated in a simple, contemporary yet comfortable, European style – think clean, light, bright and airy – whilst an added touch of luxury comes in the form of specially imported English bed linens! Its flexible and considered layout makes it ideal for multi-generational family groups and groups of friends/couples. On the main level you'll find the kitchen, full bathroom, three bedrooms, living and dining space for all 14 guests. You can also walk out onto the back deck from here. A completely furnished lower level with two bedrooms, its own small kitchenette and comfortable living space means you can take a breather if you need some alone time before diving back in to the group activities. Evenings can be spent cozying up with Netflix, or visiting The County's collection of unique wineries, breweries and restaurants offering delicious, local fare.
