Summary: First, I recommend this rental and these hosts. The listing is accurate in all respects. I did not meet the hosts, but check-in was very smooth, and email communication was exceptionally clear and fast. We, 5 adults, were at the location the end of May, beginning of June. The bird sightings and sounds were well beyond expectations. The hosts undersold this aspect of their rental...spring birding, wonderful. The amenities were top-notch, clean, well maintained and of good quality. The grounds were clean, grass was cut, and even the dock was clean and that takes effort because of the birds. All aspects of the home were comfortable, including the beds...very comfortable bedding. The cabin itself had signs of aging, some aspects more than others, but again all was clean. We made good use of the property inside and out. Internet was reliable, streaming onto devices was uninterrupted, though streaming and then playing on larger TV was laggy, downloading first solved this. The lake is seasonal dependent, but for us, we were able to paddle board and kayak in clean cool water. Lastly, this is relatively private and thus quiet, you only see the other homes from the back of the property. Well deserved 5 stars.
