This house can comfortably sleep 8 guests between the master bedroom w/ a walk in shower and two guest bedrooms and separate bathroom + the sofa bed. Highlights include:

The recently remodeled modern kitchen is fully equipped for any desert-inspired culinary endeavor. The beautiful sun room houses the dining table which can comfortably seat 6. It also has direct access to the backyard. Although you may be tempted to take your meal outside to the patio’s dining table, which also seats at least 6 with picnic benches. Highlights include:

★ Baking sheets, pots and pans are available/included
★ Hand mixer, blender, bar-tools and cocktail glasses
★ Homestead Modern homes all come with cooking oil, salt & pepper, a few spices, as well as, pre-arrival food & beverage stocking services if you desire

Parking is available for 4 vehicles. This home has a security camera mounted on, and directed at the exterior of the home in order to monitor the quantity of cars on property so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances.

Visitors come to the High Desert for its unique landscape, culture, and recreational opportunities, as well as for the weather - hot and dry summers and mild winters at our high altitude. Joshua Tree and the communities surrounding the Joshua Tree National Park include Flamingo Heights, Pioneertown, Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, and Landers. You’ll be close to all the action at Cielo Alto. Some of our favorite options available to you:

–Joshua Tree National Park: 800,000 acres of mystical beauty - Joshua Tree National Park is one of the world’s most incredible natural desert treasures. Sweeping, grand in scale and populated by granite monoliths and voluptuous rock and boulder formations. This quiet land, conducive to meditation and roaming, was carved by extremes in climate - wind, rain and an ever-present, relentless sun. Diverse forms of plant life are found everywhere, but none as unique or prevalent as the park’s namesake: the Joshua tree, standing majestically across the vast topography.

–Pioneertown: Step back in time to thus rustic Old West-style village. Wander through the historic buildings, visit unique shops, catch a live music performance at Pappy & Harriets, and experience the Wild West charm.

• The Integratron: New age-y healing destination with a sound bath, originally designed by ufologist George Van Tassel with the goal of reversing the aging process.

As the only professional management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards. We pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.

This area is renowned for its forever vistas of the Mojave Desert and its proximity to the national park and other public lands. The quiet neighborhood offers a tranquil vibe and big, open skies, so you’ll feel like you’re miles away from it all, but plenty of restaurants and things to do are within a short drive.

When you’re ready to hike, bike, or climb, Joshua Tree National Park’s Entrance is a 8-minute drive away.

Getting Around:
Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain. GPS is accurate.
