Summary: My wife and I came here to see the great eclipse of April 2024. We were very fortunate to have clear skies that day, and this was a secluded and quiet place to experience the two-hour darkening and lightening (with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape). Beyond that experience, we found the house a very cozy and welcoming place to be together. Both the design and the decoration are restful, and the furniture is very comfortable for lounging. There are mountain views from pretty much any place in the house. (Being there in late winter/early spring, our experience of the long series of unpaved roads leading up to the place was that they can be pretty rough--expect some bumps.) Though we live on the West Coast, and Quebec is a long trip for us, we might come to Quebec again *just to stay here*. It's that good.
