Welcome to our Cabin!
Spacious, light filled A-frame cottage in a private gated Big Bass Lake 4 season resort community.
The community has 2 large lakes with sand beaches and lifeguards, boat and kayak rentals, 4 playgrounds, tennis courts, 2 heated pools (one indoor and one outdoor), a clubhouse with food and recreation center, ping pong tables, and multiple activities for kids. The house is right across the outdoor summer swimming pool and the clubhouse. There are 3 ski resorts within 25 minutes (Montage, Jack Frost / Big Boulder, Camelback) and more resorts further out (Elk, Shawnee). Montage makes its own snow.
APPLICATION FEE:
The HOA requires for all rentals to submit a rental application, no later than 3 days before arrival, with a non refundable fee of $50. Access to the community will not be granted without it. After you book the stay, I will request the information needed from you and the $50 via the platform. I will then email you the application back for your signature and then submit the application to the Big Bass Lake Admin office.
AMENITY FEE daily or weekly
If you would like to use the amenities (outdoor pool, clubhouse, indoor pool or rent kayaks in the summer), you have to purchase a daily $8 or a weekly $30 pass ages 7 and above.
There is NO amenity fee to be at the playground or the tennis courts.
PET FEE: there is a $95 fee per pet per visit for visits more than 2 nights.
The HOUSE:
You are getting the whole house with the private driveway surrounded by woods.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, silverware, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, electrical oven/range, mini oven, toaster, and washer and dryer. The kitchen is light filled by two skylights in the roof.
Next to the kitchen is the dining area with the dining table and chairs.
Down from the dining area is the living room with wood burning fireplace, couch, and a wonderful view of the woods. There is a smart TV with Apple TV so you can connect your phone.
There is also a spacious sunroom, which has a foldable couch.
Down to the hallway there is a bathroom and three bedrooms.
Master bedroom has one queen size bed, two large closets, and own bathroom.
One bedroom has 1 twin size bed and 1 bunk bed, and a spacious closet as well.
Another bedroom has two twin size beds and a large closet.
There is a central forced air HVAC system in the house, which provides AC or heat to each bedroom, each bathroom, the living room and kitchen.
There is a large deck on the back of the house facing the woods. There are benches, tables, and chairs on the deck as well a charcoal grille.

Water. The property has a well and aseptic tank. The tap water is ok to drink, but some guests prefer bringing bottled water.
The Kalahari Resort (America's largest indoor waterpark) is 20 minutes away.
There are 3 ski resorts within 30 minutes, and several more within 45-50 minutes.
Neighborhood information
You will be close to everything that Poconos has to offer - Kalahari resort, Camelback, Big Boulder and Jack Frost ski resorts. Multiple hiking trails, Gouldsboro State Park, and much more.

Other Important information
Since we are in a private community, we ask all of our guests to be mindful of our neighbors (humans and animals). As such, noise should not be excessive and there are no fireworks or parties allowed.
Renters need to be at least 25 years old.
There is also no smoking or vaping inside the home. Smoking is permitted outside, but please note that this is a heavily wooded area and butts should be disposed of accordingly in outdoor ash tray.
Please turn off HVAC if you want to leave windows open and turn it to higher temperatures when departing the house to help with electricity costs as they are extremely high in the area.
Please obey speed limits 25 MPH in the community. The tickets are issued to violators promptly and are $175 and more.
