Enjoy a unique experience on small tidal creek, beautiful marsh views, majestic grand oak trees, and abundant wildlife in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.
Convenient location. Easy access to downtown or the beach. On James Island, licensed in the City of Charleston, just across the marsh and harbor of the historic downtown. (5 miles to downtown, and 8 miles to Folly Beach)
The high 10 foot ceilings, large 8 foot windows, and wonderful view create an open experience.
THE SPACE
* The guest apartment is very secluded attached to the end of main house, with private entrance. Recently renovated. A thick well insulated wall separates the back apartment from the main house for complete privacy.
* Self check in with keypad and unique door code. (Check in instructions and individual door code will be sent via Vrbo messages after reservation. Check your inbox.)
* Exceptionally clean. Takes three hours to clean between guest. All the bedding including pillow, mattress protectors and bed spreads are washed between each guest. Every inch of the place is cleaned and disinfected between each guest.
* Queen size bed in bedroom for two guest.
* Perfect for a couple or solo traveler. Very safe, secure and private.. (This unit is set up for no more than two overnight adult guests and no more than one car.)

* This is a legal B&B fully licensed and insured in the City of Charleston. (STR # 2021- 02361)
* No oven. (City of Charleston zoning and fire department only allows a microwave in short term rentals.)
Free Wifi and 4K Direct TV streaming (basic cable (ESPN, Discovery etc and Netflix) or select your own app on Roku remote.
* The apartment has a ductless mini split AC/Heat for guest to adjust room temp with a remote control found on the bookshelf with instructions, and also connected to central heating and air for the entire house. Ceiling fans in both rooms.
-- Tankless hot water heater. Never run out of hot water. Takes about 45 seconds for hot water to reach the bathroom in the apartment, then continuous hot water and no need to wait between showers.
-- There are chairs in the back yard but no fishing or access to the marsh or creek on the back. (Not covered by insurance.)
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
-- Its a quiet residential neighborhood. Please no outside noise after 11 pm.
-- Please include a message when making a reservation request. For example, "Me and my friend will be in town for our first visit to Charleston and looking forward to staying at your apartment!" (If you are traveling solo and not sure if a friend will join you its fine to include him/her.)
-- I usually only see or hear guest if we happen to be leaving at the same time and its fun to say hi in the front yards. So far guest love the apartment and are very positive influence.
