Designed in 1938 by famed mid-century modernist architect Richard Neutra, The Leon Barsha House was saved from the Hollywood Freeway expansion in the 70’s and moved to Santa Monica. It is now beautifully restored and included on the Historic Registry as a home of “International Style”.

Updated and beautifully restored, the comfortable home combines unique details - like the Ford headlamp used in only 2 of Neutra’s homes as an exterior light - it retains its period design (and quirks!)
Walk a few blocks to Santa Monica beach, grab a coffee or smoothie with the locals at our neighborhood airstream cafe - Rustic Coffee, buy gourmet goodies and farmers market fruits and veggies at our neighborhood Canyon Square, walk to Rihanna’s favorite LA restaurant - Giorgio Baldi, or the neighborhood historic steakhouse - Golden Bull, hike in the nearby canyons, climb the famed Santa Monica steps just 2 blocks away (great for exercise, people watching and the view!), enjoy shopping and restaurants on Montana Avenue or in Palisades Village.
