Immerse yourself in nature on our property backed by state forest land filled with hiking, biking, and complete privacy. Large light-filled spaces create the ideal setting for creativity and relaxation.
The Hillside House is the perfect mix of Upstate charm with updated amenities. We can't wait to host you and your loved ones!

The space
Our open concept design allows you to connect with friends and family during your stay at The Hillside House. Modern amenities, a fully stocked kitchen, and an emphasis on cleanliness provide a serene and enjoyable stay in our home.
On the main level, you will find the primary bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Our king-size memory foam mattress will make it difficult to get out of bed in the morning! Our kitchen is ready for any savvy home cooks - get your morning started with a local roast in coffee machine (*edit* the espresso machine in the picture was broken by a guest and we had to replace it with something else). You'll also find our main living room space - which includes a 65" smart TV complete with Netflix and HBO. Two of the guest bedrooms, both with queen-size beds, are also located on the top floor.
We recently had fiber internet installed and our home has a perfect setup for accomplishing some work from home tasks. We have a double standing desk and plenty of work space.
Exit the main living area through sliding glass doors to our back patio surrounded by peaceful nature. With a flat-top grill, fire pit, and dining table to match - you'll enjoy many evenings under the string lights and stars.
We are conveniently located 7 minutes from West Stockbridge, 15 minutes from Chatham, 25 minutes from Great Barrington, and 30 minutes from Hudson. Beautiful hiking and biking trails are just a few minutes up the road.

Our home is not suitable for small children - we have banisters around our staircase that are too wide and could be a safety hazard.
We have a radon remediation system installed in our home - this is VERY common in upstate New York and nothing to be alarmed of.
