Built in 1920 from the timbers on the property, this Historic Hunting and fishing Lodge is the oldest house in the area! It has hosted guests from Henry Ford to Thomas Edison! Come experience history in Clarkston Michigan just 5 minutes from world famous Pine Knob Amphitheater and Pine Knob Ski and Snowboard Resort. Bring your fishing poles and enjoy life on the water with complimentary Canoe's and Kayak's and incredible fishing on 77 Acre ALL SPORTS Walters lake. With a large fireplace in the great room, and a huge outdoor firepit, bring your firewood and marshmallows and enjoy that up north feeling under the stars. NO PARTIES or EVENTS. MAX 9 VEHICES ON PROPERTY. *Owners maybe on property* * DO NOT BLOCK GARAGE DOORS* *Rental is only for the main Lodge. BARN/Garage is off limits and not included.

Summary: Great stay and spacious cabin. Enough room for 10 people and the back deck/patio was a great feature. Some of the neighbors on a separate property seemed grumpy, but we just ignored them (only saw 2 times). Would certainly stay again in the future.
