Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A very attractive and comfortable apartment. The owners had provided everything you could want in the unit. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality gear. Not cheap stuff you often find in rentals. The swimming pool and tennis court were a bonus with racquets and balls provided.

Negative: There was a problem with ants in the kitchen. There were a lot when you came out in the mornings in and under a lot of things on the bench. Management told us that the problem was going to be addressed when the whole building was treated. There were 4 of us staying and there needed to be more crockery and cutlery as once we had eaten breakfast or lunch we had used most of the tableware and the dishwasher didn’t have enough in it to put on. Had to wash them by hand to use again, something I don’t do at home and don’t want to do on a holiday. The oven was not cleaned properly on the bottom of the door, a lot of debris there. I left a note for the cleaner. The lock box was a little tricky to get into and management were very prompt in providing assistance. The television was brand new, a nice big screen tv, but it had not been set up properly and no free to air channels were available. Again management were wonderful and although not able to set it up properly we’re able to provide us with one channel so we could catch the news and weather necessary at the time.. These were not major issues as we were very happy with the apartment but I felt that fixing these small issues would make it amazing.
