Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this cozy country cottage in Columbia County. This is a small but charming house that was perfect for our party of three (parents and an adult child), but it would be uncomfortable for more than four (two couples). The owners are dog lovers, and our ability to bring our Labrador retriever along was a big bonus. The only downside was the fireplace, which emitted a lot of smoke into the living room/kitchen area even with the flu fully open. That would not be an issue in the summer, but it did detract a bit from the experience during our Thanksgiving weekend stay. Overall, a very nice holiday.
