The property is self check in and highly sanitized with time delays between bookings to ensure guest safety. This 100 year old house has retained its historical charm with dark wood trim and a leaded glass built in china cabinet. It consists of a separate downstairs and upstairs unit with individual, private entrances. The rental includes the upper unit of the home.
Guests are thrilled with the downtown location and the large size of the rental. Beautiful Sullivan's Pond Park is located directly in front of the property. The ferry to Halifax is a ten minute walk away.
The home is close to everything; restaurants, parks, stores, mic mac mall, theaters, lake banook beaches, cafes, pubs, groceries and the ferry to downtown Halifax. All are within walking distance.
The unit is only used as a vacation rental. It has three bedrooms: one large bedroom with a queen bed and two bedrooms each with a single bed, all with new linens. There is digital cable television in the living room plus a DVD player. All toiletries are supplied.
There are two single cots available for a fifth and sixth guest.
The unit is fully supplied with everything that you will need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size fridge and stove. There is a dishwasher, clothes washer and dryer. It has air conditioning.
A large private back deck with both a gas and an electric barbecue has lots of outdoor seating and flowers in the summer for guests.
Parks with trails, beaches and playgrounds surround the house. Beach swimming is a five minute walk away. A grocery store, a gym, a shopping mall, restaurants, and pubs are all within walking distance. It is an ideal location for both beauty and convenience.
There are walking and biking trails in front of the house along the Canada Trail. It is a year round rental.
Please no smoking inside but you may smoke outside on the back deck.
