The Riverside is an ideal waterfront condo centrally located in Sicamous. We offer a safe, barrier free and fun environment for all ages in all seasons. Out location is a 5-minute walk to multiple amenities including the public beach, shopping and restaurants but far enough away from the hub of activity to have some peace and quiet. In the summer months, the rental comes with a designated boat slip in a recently installed new private dock on "The Narrows" providing access to both Mara Lake and Shuswap Lakes for hours of boating and fishing pleasure. There are plenty of business in town that offer a variety of water craft to fit any budget. Alternatively, you can just relax by the pool or hot tub and watch the boats go by from May to Sept
Any season is a good time to rejuvenate at the local spa, cuddle up with a good book or initiate a romantic evening by the fireplace. We are nestled in the interior of Beautiful British Columbia where opportunities to explore are endless. Situated on the crystal clear lakes of the Shuswap that span an impressive 89km/55miles there are over 17 villages and towns that flank the Shuswap waterways. In addition there are numerous larger urban centres such as Revelatoke, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops within an hours drive all with their own unique points of interest and charm. Salmon Arm is only 20 minutes and provides access to almost all that a Big City would offer. Sicamous is almost half way between Calgary and Vancouver. Many of our guest rent as a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. It is a town of less than 3000 people where the average person can walk the entire circumference within an hour or two. Most guests visit the famous Dutchman Dairy and buy locally grown fruit and vegetable across the street.
We are a working middle class, middle age couple who love to share our accommodations with others when we can't be here to enjoy the place. All of the amenities and consumables "just like home" are here for you, right down to the coffee and ketchup. We just ask that if you use the last of it you replace it.
