This is an adorable two bedroom brick cottage on the lake. There have been some dramatic storms in the past two years giving rise to the need for a new break wall. We continue to work on the cottage both inside and out. We have spent many evening admiring the moon over the water and sunsets, watching the waves and simply enjoying the moment. Birders love the area, which is on the migratory path. The cottage, on a private residential street, offers every convenience in the kitchen, as well as all linens.
There is no direct water access because of the lake levels. However, you can take a short trip to Colchester or Kingsville to launch a boat or sit on the beach. The break wall that we have built allows you sit at the water for pleasure or meals, or perhaps a fire.
While I consider the home appropriate for children we of course take the safety of the children seriously. Please watch children closely in consideration of the proximity of the water.
There is a canoe, a kayak, and various sized life jackets.
