Separate dining room and kitchen, comfortable spacious living room with a fireplace and a large wrap around deck with BBQ. Enjoy the beautiful finishes throughout the home and the look and feel of a traditional Whistler home with exposed log beams.
Our 2290 sq ft four bedroom luxury town home on Whistler Mountain perched high above Whistler Creekside village, the home of the 2010 Olympic downhill races. Vaulted ceilings framed by double story cedar logs and large windows let you enjoy the incredible mountain and lake views; a true mountainside retreat.
Have dinner in the separate dining room and then relax in the living room curled up on the comfy sofas while having a glass of wine watching your favourite movie on Netflix on the large flat screen TV all whilst enjoying the wood-burning fireplace. The luxury of granite counters in the well equipped kitchen with a separate powder room on this floor. Large wrap around deck with a Webber gas BBQ and views to the lake. Multiple car parking spots available.
On a separate deck you will find our hide away private hot tub.
Enjoy the outdoor swimming pool in the summer available just for the 45 Taluswood homes.
Master suite: large bedroom and bathroom on its own floor featuring a king bed, separate shower and bath and double sinks. Second bedroom: King bed. Third bedroom: Queen Bed with Twin Bunk Bed and ensuite bathroom. Fourth bedroom: Bunk Bed (Bottom Double, and Top Twin). Separate bathroom with a shower for the second and fourth bedrooms.
The Ski in/ Ski out access is available with a short walk. Winter Guests: You will have a short walk to ski-in / ski-out access via the Dave Murray ski trail (an intermediate trail). For those that would prefer to start at the Gondola, Whistler Creekside Gondola is a few minute drive where you can park for free for the day while skiing.
Summer Guests: Choose to relax by the pool or hot tub, go for a hike or ride your bike right down to Creekside Village. Here, you will have access to shops, cafes, a grocery store and the Valley trails (at the base of Nordic Drive) - a network of biking & hiking trails throughout the Whistler Valley. A locals favourite!
Pool Access - Taluswood is comprised of two complexes. This unit is located in the first complex while the communal year-round outdoor hot tub and the June to Sept pool is literally 30 steps from the front door. There is parking and change rooms at the facilities and in summer. I will be happy to show you this upon arrival.
This home features an in-suite washer and dryer, garage parking for one standard size vehicle and complimentary wireless internet. Outdoor parking for one car in front of garage and and two cars in driveway + 4 overflow spots.

Summary: This house was a reasonable price for the area and the access to skiing was great, so I was very excited to find it. Additionally, the host was quite responsive, but I had to request check in and check out processes, and ask for additional support multiple times while visiting. However, I was surprised and disappointed with the conditions of this house and inconsistencies of the description given. The bunks in the biggest room were not queen beds as listed, and the total beds listed in the “bed and room” section do not match the description given further down the listing. Specially, it says sleeps 15, and 12 adults were the absolute maximum this space can house and we felt it was very tight. No access instructions were provided for several expected amenities, and the heat did not work properly on the bottom floor where the majority of bedrooms are. Further, overall condition of the house was far less than luxury - broken blinds, damaged walls, a non-functional couch in the main room, no kitchen towels provided, etc. I have stayed in the area quite a bit and feel disappointed that for the price point did not meet the experience received. I am grateful for a slightly affordable option and a responsive host, but feel this did not meet expectations.
