Upon entering you are greeted with an incredible view looking out onto the mountains and a great room with a stone fireplace to sit around - and relax! There is a spacious open concept living room and dining area that also captures the mountain landscape from every angle. The kitchen is the heart of any home, and memories as well as meals are made here. Stainless steel appliances contrast with granite counter tops to create a classically modern finish, and the open-plan design invites diners to take a peek at what's on the menu. For the chef, this home features a fabulous gas stove - rare in the mountains. A separate kitchen utility area, off the well appointed kitchen, provides easy access to the laundry area and additional storage. The dining table seats 8 for a delicious meal. This home has fantastic outdoor living space with rocking chairs and grill with a view! :)
Imagine waking up in your own master on main bedroom to miles of mountain vistas and your own separate sitting room! :) The main floor has this one primary bedroom (king) with an attached bathroom (whirlpool tub and walk-in shower). On the upper level two guest bedrooms (queen bed)(2 twin beds) share a hall bathroom with a walk-in shower. The terrace level features a fourth private guest room (queen bed) with adjoining private bathroom with walk in shower/tub combination. There are TVs in both the open plan living area and the private master bedroom sun room (which features walls of windows to take in the beautiful scenery).
This beautiful mountain retreat boasts a level circular driveway which provides convenient parking for multiple cars and flat entry to the home, making coming and going easier for guests with luggage, babies or motion restrictions. The home provides a perfect getaway for a family, small group or couple looking for an extended stay. The gorgeous wooded views throughout and feeling of being suspended in the trees sets our house apart and makes for a wonderful mountain escape.

THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta. There is a stock with a trout fishing lake, marina, and rental boats available. Big Canoe has over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself.You can reach us through your booking conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department.
OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 10 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over (limit 10), however, in compliance with the city regulations, and there cannot be more than 10 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.
RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.
PARKING:
The flat circular driveway in front of house with space for several vehicles.
**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is not pet friendly. :-)

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.
SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.
MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.
FIREPLACE:
Is decorative and not for use.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees). If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest. We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
