Wander Anchor Cove is a modern concrete, glass, and steel home with floor-to-ceiling windows set on 5.25 acres overlooking our own private cove with over 1,800 feet of ocean frontage. This incredible coastal escape overlooks rock formations and islands where you can enjoy the sunset and whale-watching views year-round from the 6-person hot tub, or permanent bench on the bluff top.
CELL SERVICE
While the house has fast WiFi, cell phone service is limited in this area of Gualala. Summary: The ocean views of our rugged coast were magnificent. The house was well appointed with the exception of the furniture being much too small making it challenging getting up. There just was nowhere to get comfortable including the outdoor sofa which was also too low to the ground. The technology of having instructions via cell phone was often complicated and lengthy. I found myself trying to resolve issues throughout the stay. Many things just didn't work i.e. Nepresso machine, ice maker, beds, T.V. and initial unlocking door upon arrival. This made us "baby boomers" confused and frustrated. I might suggest a written manual. Other than that, the house was beautifully kept, views extraordinary and customer service very good. We enjoyed lovely sunsets.
