Summary: This property somehow is rated 5 Stars, not even close, i am being generous with 3. I have been in the hospitality industry for 50 years starting in 1976, lets just say that I might be a little more critical, but I still believe that my assessments are correct. Considering that I own a large scale Catering company. I can tell you that I checked out after four boring nights of a five night stay. Lets start with the most important items, food. It was less than disappointing. I would rated a 4 on a 1-10 scale. Army buffet or even School luncheons. Same things and not high quality, eggs were not prepared to culinary standards and I can go on and on on this. The specialty restaurants were not special at all. Portions are very small as were the recipes accuracies, the Phad Thai a national dish of Thailand was simply a peanut sauce (Terrible). The all inclusive bar service was not all inclusive at all, you needed to buy a premium bar service and the liquor they serve is poor quality with very generic brands, they consider Tanqueray Gin a premium liquor, when it's a simple Call. Beer, only one , take it or leave it. Rooms were clean and spacious, in the fridge only beer, water and some soft drinks, not even a coffee maker or snacks as advertised. The bartender was overwhelmed on Saturday night, ignoring some guests as if they weren't even there. Service at the beach bar was much better. They close bars at 1 am.
