Located on the north arm of the lake - a quiet neighborhood, calm waters, secluded and rural area - 6 miles south of Petoskey.
A very unique property - with 160 ft of private frontage, 250 ft deep lot, 1 acre in size, with split rail fence and trees on its boundaries.
Sand beach across the entire lake frontage - no rocks, no weeds, no reeds, no dropoff, and no road.
Near the waters edge - a bonfire pit, with fire wood, a private dock, and swim raft.
Gentile slope from the lake and beach up to the house - no road, no cliff, no steps to the house, only rich grass, a few trees.
The large relatively level grass yard near the lake is great for all sorts of summer fun activities.
A 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 1700 sf secluded ranch home, overlooking the lake - true up north character.
All living is on one floor, same elevation as the deck and parking your cars, well-suited for grandma or handicapped - full basement underneath is used only for storage.

Indian Garden road behind - winding, hilly, heavily wooded, one of our up north scenic roads.
Across the road - a land preserve, very large wooded area, some great walking paths, nearby entrance.

6 miles to Petoskey - numerous restaraunts, shops, stores, parks, golf courses, ski hills, winerys, Odawa Casino, and much more.
Close to Lake Michigan, Bay Harbor, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, Boyne City, Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, 45 minutes to Mackinaw Island and the Bridge.
Property manager resides close by, property owner is always available by phone and email.
A 10% discount, when available, applies only to "last minute" reservations - made with less than 2 weeks of the arrival date. This rebate will be sent by the owner to the renter after completion of the rental period.

One special and unique feature of this property is the very large and level grass yard by the lake - great for all kind of games and family fun.
Another special feature of this property is the very large wooded area (Nature Preserve) right across the road - there are several very nice walking paths in these woods for you to enjoy during your stay (anytime during the year). The entrance to one of the key paths is just 150 ft (south) from our driveway on Indian Garden Rd. - you can enter and walk in the woods for miles.
Amenities: Updated kitchen includes 2 sinks, main refrigerator with ice maker, 2nd under cabinet refrigerator, stove, microwave, cooking utensils, etc. Laundry room with washer, dryer, and laundry tub. Internet, cable TV, etc.
Activities (on site or nearby): Hiking, biking, golf, tennis, fishing, shopping, restaurants, cinemas, museums, sightseeing, swimming, boating, sailing, water skiing, windsurfing, jet skiing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, sledding. Nature Preserve with nice walking paths in the woods directly across the road.
Nearby golf courses: Bay Harbor (2 courses), Boyne Mountain (2 courses), Boyne Highlands (4 courses), Hidden River Golf & Casting Club, Chestnut Valley, Belvedere, Dunmaglas, Springbrook (less expensive, more casual).
Regarding bringing your dog: You may be allowed to bring your dog - specifics "must be approved by the property owner in advance" - there will be a fee and specific requirements. You will need to contact the owner directly and work out the details.
Renter will be provided with a map, door key combination, and complete house instructions prior to the rental period. Normal check-in time is 4 pm, check-out time is 11:00 am.
Optional Pontoon Boat Rental: An option available to you when you rent this house - rent my brand new 2023 Bennington Pontoon Boat, 22 ft with a Yahama 150 hp outboard motor (pictures included here). Rental cost this summer is only $1600/week (about one third the cost for renting a pontoon boat at the marina) - Contact the owner for further details on this option.
