Walking distance to UW Health, UnityPoint, St Mary's, Camp Randall, the UW Campus, bike paths, Lake Wingra, the zoo, parks, museums and more!
A short drive to activities on Lake Mendota, Lake Monona, the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, shopping centers and more - enjoy the best that Madison has to offer!
Enjoy private access to the entire house and deck, patio and backyard. The second floor patio is a great space to grab a pastry or breakfast sandwich from Bloom bakeshop (our favorite bakery, just a block away), drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine and people watch.
Guests will have a dedicated office space with high speed wifi (500 Mbps), a monitor, keyboard, mouse and a laptop stand and docking station. The office room also has an entertainment area with books for all levels (+Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings, in case you're a fan like me) and games.
Basement features a laundry room (washer/dryer) with an ironing station. Also a small home gym with a dumbbell set, workout bench, stationary bike and yoga mat.
We have three bedrooms (1 queen bed, and 2 full beds), and 1 full bath and 2 half baths. All mattresses are non-toxic, fiberglass-free, gel memory foam mattresses.
The kitchen is stocked with Ceramic PFAS-Free Pots and Pans Set, cooking utensils, baking pans, Keurig machine, electric tea kettle, coffee pods/tea, blender, toaster, place mats, dishware/silverware.
There is a Google Nest Hub display in the kitchen, where you can look up recipes, play music, youtube or netflix while you cook, bake or hang out! You can also access the front door security camera from this display.
Please feel free to use the entire house except for one closet in Bedroom 3 and a few basement closets that we use for storage - those closets will have locks on them to indicate that we have personal items stored.
Free Parking - Guests can park in the 2-car private driveway, or use the 1-car garage. One block from a BCycle bike-sharing station where guests (18 years +) can rent e-bikes.
We love animals and we are pet-friendly for a $100 fee to cover additional cleaning.
Other things to note:
We have a smart keypad on both the front and back doors, and we'll share a unique code with you on the check-in day. The property is secured by ADT.
A lawn mower will come around every couple weeks, and snow removal as needed in the winter.
