This Bala Bay Lake Muskoka cottage and boathouse were designed for the property. The cottage is positioned so the sun sets down the middle of the cottage on the 21st of Sept. and March 21st. Large outdoor cedar deck with stairs and ramp down to the 14 x 42 ft. dock. Floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace. 3 bedrooms upstairs with a 4 pc. bath. One main floor bedroom en-suite. Queen beds in each room. Main floor washroom with 2 person jacuzzi. Large open ceiling dining and living area lots of windows. Full kitchen with dishwasher. Basement with 5 x 9 pool table. Leather floors. World class entertaining. A real Muskoka Cottage. featured in Cottage life magazine June 2012 and Muskoka life in 2007. Property has been in the family since 1905. This cottage designed and built in 1985/86. faces Bala and some of the best sunsets in Muskoka.

Summary: The cottage, waterfront and cottage owner were all top notch. My family and I enjoyed a true Muskoka experience at this property. Steve is a wonderful host, very gracious and welcoming. Excellent spot!
