Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location was very good for what we needed and all facilities at the property were good for a short stay. Bed was very comfy and overall property was clean, host welcoming and friendly. Mice selection of teas and coffees provided and milk (a kind gesture but fridge either too hot or left open so had gone smelly and chunky) Fairly priced accommodation for the night.

Negative: We arrived at the property at around 18:30, i had previously discussed a slightly later check in time than was on booking.coms app and was told this was fine, the accommodation wasn't ready and so we waited for around 10 minutes on the driveway while it was finished being cleaned, got into the accommodation and all seemed good overall, i pointed out to the host (who was very welcoming) that we didn't have keys to lock up the annexe and she said they were in the door, checked again and they weren't, i messaged straight away (she had gone inside) to say there were no keys and we needed some, had no reply, after 15 mins i called her and she had gone out, had to wait another 15-20 minutes for her to return so we could leave the property (waiting to travel into Wembley on the tube, which the location is perfect for) we just managed to get to Wembley on time with the hold up. Fridge had possibly been left slightly open so the milk left in there was smelling and gone chunky. Patio door to the annexe has dropped and so locking up/shutting door was tricky, unable to lock up overnight (didn't want to force it and potentially break the door/lock) Listed above are teething problems (very new to letting out property) no doubt in time it will all come together to be a 10 on the ratings.
