There are many wonderful activities right out your door, scenic hikes, wild flowers, fossils and enjoying drives along the Rim Rd., with its panoramic views are a few ways to soak up the relaxing area.

Wild game such as turkey, elk, deer, coyote and bear are often spotted in the forest. Children love wading in the creek or they may delight in horseback riding nearby.
