Summary: The staff was great - very friendly. The hotel (more like a motel) is very basic, but it had free parking ( a big plus in the downtown area) and was located only a little over a 5 minute walk to all the hopping nightlife of downtown San Jose - which was all I needed. The walk was safe, and even though the hotel was so close to downtown, it was still very quiet. And there is a coffee shop just a couple of doors down from the inn for morning coffee and a croissant or morning bun.
