If you’re like most of our guests, as you enter into the grand, two-story foyer of this newly constructed (2024), professional-decorated home, your reaction will be nothing short of pleasant surprise! We hear so often how the pictures don’t do our properties justice. You’ll find custom paneling and beautiful wood floors in the entry and throughout the home. As you walk past the grand staircase toward the main living area, a convenient powder room and separate laundry room can be found on either side of the hallway. Continue into the open concept living, dining and kitchen and you’ll notice things you don’t normally find in a rental property: quality kitchen cabinets, quartz counters, and upgraded appliances. The living area has a stunning two-story vaulted ceiling with large, architectural windows, gas fireplace and a Sonos in-ceiling sound system.
Just through the french doors is a private 12’ x 14’ back deck with a comfortable lounging area and a gas grill. The rear yard and garden spaces around the property are professionally landscaped, creating a tranquil space for morning coffee, afternoon appetizers, or just relaxing after a day at the beach. Plus, guests with children or dogs will have complete peace of mind to find the entire rear yard is fully fenced. Head back inside the way you came or through the second set of French doors on the rear deck, and you’ll find yourself in the first floor en-suite. This spacious room features a luxurious king bed, expansive walk-in closet, and an upgraded full bath with lavish walk-in shower.
In the front half of the second floor, you’ll discover two bedrooms. The first is a generous space with a queen bed and large, comfortable sectional for lounging; the second, a "kids" bedroom, features sleeping for three with a twin-over-twin bunk and a separate twin bed. Both share an adjacent, well-appointed full bathroom with a bathtub. Toward the back of the second floor, you’ll be welcomed into an open concept lounging area with stylish furnishings, a 60-inch television, and in-ceiling Sonos sound system. This gives large or multiple families the ability to have plenty of space to spread out to come together or have some alone time. A beautiful second primary suite can be found off of this space, which has a king bed, double walk-in closets, and an ensuite bath with private commode.
This home is available year-round, allowing you to enjoy the Lewes, Rehoboth, and Dewey Beach areas in any season. Fall and winter bring exciting events like the Jazz Festival, Chocolate Festival, and the renowned Film Festival. Coming for the holidays? A few disclaimers we feel are important to share based on previous guest feedback …
Delaware beach rentals are a little different, with most homes requiring guests bring their own linens. That’s because in these small beach towns, there’s not enough cleaning crews to turnover the number of rental properties and have to do laundry. If you prefer NOT to bring your own linens, we are more than happy to refer you to some wonderful linen services who will deliver what you need directly to the property—we can even get you a discount!
Luxury Villas By The Sea provides arriving guests with enough supplies to get through their first 24-48 hours before you hit the stores to pick up what you need for your stay. This includes a limited amount of paper products, trash bags and dishwasher detergent. We do provide some limited kitchen essentials, including oil, salt and pepper. In a post-Covid world, we’ve found many of our guests don’t find shared items like this, or toiletries, to be hygienic and prefer to bring or purchase their own. The exception is dish and hand soap, which we provide in all kitchens and bathrooms.
There is a 3% charge associated with accepting credit card payments that we regret is a passthrough charge. We’d love to help you avoid this with payments by cash, check or PayPal.
Given the quick turnovers of properties during the summer season, we are unable to offer early check in or late check out.
