Positive: Dinner was excellent! Still cannot forget the dinners we had there. Everything we ordered were mouth-watering delicious and iconic Icelandic dishes. It may look simple but each dish was done with perfection, even the grilled carrots sourced from local green house was so tender and delicious, it almost tasted like a dessert! All staffs were so nice and friendly, taking great thoughts in caring for the guests. The lady at the reception has extremely good memory and remembered every inquiries and timings. The lady who picked me up made me felt warm at arrival, as well as the day we went out horse-riding in heavy snow, she wrapped me up with everything possible to make sure I am warm enough. I stayed on the ranch for fours days and joined two days of the horse-riding excursions. It was a fun and special experience tölting with Iceland horses. The tours were well-arranged and the horses are super calm and cute. Though time were tight, it would have been nice to have a bit more informative introduction to Icelandic horses before we set off, as they are so unique to Iceland and the world!

Negative: With its convenient location, great value of stay and large capacity, it is unavoidably one of the top choices for group booking. However, when there are crowds, it would be loud and noisy at times. During breakfast, groups were arranged in another hall but it is still a contrast to my otherwise very peaceful, calming stay.

Summary: Excellent with a charming Icelandic touch!
