Summary: Excellent stay at hotel De Londres in Brig, with great location that is in the center of the city and close to the train station. Breakfast is heavenly and healthy. Staffs are very helpful. Note that sometimes pre-stay queries/questions were not answered. I was considering whether to change my booking from 2 linked-rooms to another 2 linked rooms that was cheaper and my inquiry regarding disable-friendliness of the other (cheaper) room was not answered. However, we're not disappointed by my decision to stay with the more expensive room since it's close to the lobby and breakfast room. Note that the lobby and breakfast room are on 2nd floor since there's a restaurant/pub in the same building on the first floor. Noise from the pub below during our Friday-Saturday stay was manageable although my mom's quite sensitive (she couldn't use ear plugs). The first 2 linked-rooms mentioned above only available through Hotels.com while the other (cheaper) 2 linked-rooms is available through directly booking with the hotel itself. I guess it's special :-). We love hotel De Londres. Note that stores are closed on Sundays in Brig, including supermarkets but we found a few economical options for food (Royal Kebab, we love you!). Zenhausers supermarket in the train station is open on Sunday.
