Summary: The Hotel Tanne is a remarkable escape. The room was gorgeous, with beautiful views, and positioned within a breathtaking courtyard. The food was authentic and delicious. But the most striking aspect is the staff. Our first visit to Bansko, with very rudimentary Bulgarian language skills, the staff nevertheless met our every question and need with a smile and a helpful answer. This place deserves more stars than I am allowed to give.
