Summary: The red flags that the other reviews don't tell you... - The Villas themselves are on various levels, some of them are approx 80 steps up (and more if you are on a top floor!) - The rooms are very dated, we had mouldy ceilings in the bathroom, a shower that wouldn't stay still when on, broken wooden flooring, holes in the curtains, and stains on the walls where the air con is leaking - The pool is salt water (not a negative, just surprising) - The breakfast is OK, it serves a purpose, but the room it's served in is very run down (sit outside instead) - The restaurant food wasn't good for the price (go to Poseydon on the beach front instead) Overall, the amenities i.e. Pool, pool bar and little shop were helpful. The property and surrounding areas were kept clean. The scenic views are stunning and access is easy to the airport. The above is in NO way a reflection on the staff, who were nothing but pleasant. However, even if the price is reasonable, staying for a week became uncomfortable - it might be a better stay for a day or two. You can see this property is a shell of its former condition, but a few minor upgrades (new modern curtains for example, removing the broken blinds in the breakfast room, and towels that aren't like a washboard), would massively impact the guest experience - postivively! Wouldn't stay again unfortunately, just wish I'd digged in to the reviews further. Had a lovely holiday regardless, thank you to the staff.
