Summary: We slept generally well but as fellow hotel owners and travel-journal writers we wanted to pass along some feedback. Our bill was $400 for one night in room #5. I am sorry but this feels egregiously over-valued. The patio and garden are essentially abandoned, I assume partly because of the time of year. The rooms have potential but the decor was not very interesting, lighting was not good, no bathtub, Target-style pillows and art, construction and dead flowers in common spaces. At night we could hear the conversations our neighbors were having. None of these issues are "the end of the world" but for the cost I would expect much more. To be frank I would have been comfortable paying $200-$250 for our room/experience BUT for what we paid it made us feel as though we wasted valuable holiday time and resources. I am sorry to send this message. As a side note the person who greeted us was very nice.
