The Jazz Quarters is a beautiful boutique hotel across from the new Louis Armstrong park and only 3 blocks from Bourbon Street. It is only a half a block from both the French Quarter and the street car line, which can provide inexpensive transportation. The Grand Duo is made up of 2 grand suites right across from each other which we have combined to make it wonderful for a group. It includes the Armstrong suite and the Marsalis suite, named for the famous New Orleans jazz musicians. These suites combined will accommodate up to 12 people.
The Armstrong is a 1 bedroom suite with a king bed in one bedroom and a sofa in the other room with 2 single Beds. There is a full kitchen and a garden tub with a shower in the bathroom. This suite will sleep up to 4 people total.
The Marsalis is a 3 bedroom suite with a queen bed in one room, Sleep Sofa in the living room and 2 queens in another. It also includes a full kitchen and a garden tub with a hand shower in the bath (no stand-up shower in this one).
Both are beautiful suites furnished with some antiques and local artwork to really capture the culture of New Orleans. There is a beautiful garden courtyard which stands out from many other places in the area. Amenities include a shared hot tub and bbq area for guests. The courtyard is gated and fenced, also.
