We live 2 minutes from Island Highway, and 4 minutes to buy fresh caught ocean seafood. We are next door to the park that begins the 13km bicycle trail that goes to Qualicum. It is a safe ride for the whole family.
The fabulous Parksville Beach is less than a 10 minute drive. In 10 minutes you can drive to Englishman River Falls for the view. You are 30 minutes from world famous Cathedral Forest. Go hiking in our numerous forest trails. You can golf all year round or just travel back roads for scenic views.

Cindy's Getaway is a spacious (over1000 sq. ft.) freshly renovated apartment in a quiet family oriented neighborhood. We have lots of closets and storage space. There is a large foyer with a closet and storage room under the stair case. The living room has a double hide-a-bed couch and two cozy leather club chairs. Also contains a single bed. The large bedroom sleeps four and has two comfy queen size beds, a large closet and dresser. The Hide-a-bed sleeps 2 . Our kitchen has everything you need for all your cooking and baking needs. The spacious dining area seats 6.
We are within minutes to a shopping center where you can buy your food, liquor, and other places to shop. We also have lots of private parking space for your vehicle and/or boat.

There is plenty of private off road parking and you have your own parking spot and could have room for a boat if you have one. Parking is level and since we are on ground floor this is great for seniors or disabled as there are no stairs or steps involved in access
You get 2 comfy queen beds, sleeps 4, a large closet and a dresser, mirror and chair .
You get a 4 piece bathroom with low soak in tub, 14" high, and also a shower. This is great for seniors, as many seniors cannot get into higher tubs.There is a safety grip for getting in and out of the tub or shower. The toilet is a high rise.
You get a spacious living room with a hide-a-bed couch and two club chairs, 3 piece end tables and lamps. You cable HDTV
There is as well, a small den with desk and high speed internet so you can have a quiet space if you are doing business.
You get a full size kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and all the appliances and dishes you need for preparing, cooking, and serving your favorite foods to your family. There is a spacious dining area in the kitchen that seats four.
There are plenty of closets, one in the foyer entrance, one underneath the staircase, and one for the bedroom.
There is also a full size, new, washer and dryer so no need to go to a laundromat. We supply the detergent also.
The entrance has a keyless door lock system for security and protection.
As well, there is a fire extinguisher, and two combined carbon monoxide, and smoke detectors. You will find a first aid kit also. There are instructions for medical and emergency access.

.There are plenty of no cost places to go and spend the day. For families the Parksville Beach has lots to offer, from sandy beaches, excellent children's playground or walks among the flowers and forest trees. Rathtrevor Beach is just a bit further down the road, with miles of sand and huge old ancient forest trees. You can go to Coombs, wonder through quaint little shops and Visit Goats On The Roof, a delightful grocery store with goodies from around the world.
There is just so much to see and do in our immediate area it would take many days just to do a few. Lots of golf courses, fishing events, winter sports, hockey arena and curling arena in Parksville, fishing derbies in the summer, boat cruises, island hopping, and local summer events such as a rodeo, and small local fairs. there are weekly farmers markets and local museums to visit. You sure can keep busy on your vacation while staying at Cindy's Getaway.
