About this space
Spacious authentic log cabin on a private serene 6 acres. This cabin has it all...large hot tub, game room, poker table, stove fire place, fire pit and mountain views. Multiple live and play areas let everyone socialize and dine together or breakup into smaller groups. We are close to skiing at Hunter and Windham mountains (10 minutes) and a short walk to Catskill park trailheads!
The space
Our fully restored log cabin boasts a soaring 21 foot ceiling in the living area with a Hearthstone fireplace that keeps the entire area toasty warm during our cold winters. A six person hot tub sits right off the deck, or you can light up the fire pit and roast up some marshmallows. The game room includes a 90s shuffle bowing alley, air hockey table and retro video arcade table. Spaces throughout the house are designed to comfortably accommodate everyone. We have a whole house backup generator so no need to sweat a power outage ruining your vacation.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house and 6 acre property, with the exception of a storage room and the garage.
Other things to note
This is a multi-level home with the main living area on the second floor. There are level areas of the property, but there is a steep drop off past the fire pit. This may not be appropriate for unsupervised children (or intoxicated adults). The woodstove gets hot and will burn you if it is touched. We have a 40Amp EV charger (standard and Tesla) and we cover the first 100kw of charging for electric vehicles, anything above this will be charged at our cost.
Service dogs are of course welcome, as are most other dogs. Due to severe allergies we unfortunately cannot accommodate cats or birds. We will consider non-service dogs based on breed, behavior and your travel situation: Tell us about your pet in the booking request! The pet fee is $50 which is included in your reservation when you indicate you are bringing a pet. Please, we must be notified on the reservation form if you are bringing *any* dogs. This form can be confusing and make it sound like you only need to tell us if it's more than two. We need to know if you are bringing even one or two dogs! Additional cleaning time is needed to turn over the house with the cleaners. For our guests bringing pets, we have an additional pet agreement we will ask to be signed.
