Summary: Our family of four stayed at John's place for a week. We needed somewhere close to Northwestern, so the location was perfect. Loved that it was also close walking distance to a few restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed Backlot coffee in the morning. The condo itself was very cozy and very spacious and creatively decorated. The last few days of our stay it got pretty hot outside, but the AC window units kept the condo very cool and comfortable. John is a very responsive host. He would respond right away if we had any questions or concerns. Street parking was easy and always available for the duration of our stay. Just watch the no parking signs, as there are specific times where parking is restricted due to street cleaning. Also, this unit is on the top floor of a 4 unit condo building. So, make sure you can manage the stairs.Overall, a very comfortable stay. Would totally rent here again should we need a space in Evanston.
