Set on 1 acre of beautiful park like grounds, this stylish farmhouse property is just a short walk (half a mile) down to Black’s Beach, one of the best surf spot in San Diego and a 2 minute drive to La Jolla Shores Beach.
Only about a mile from world renown Torrey Pines golf course and walking distance to UCSD, where you can enjoy bike trails and good restaurants.
The space
This one story home was built in 1960 but completely restored in 2021 with top of the line appliances and fixtures. All bathrooms and kitchen have been remodeled.
Other things to note
-Please note this is NOT a party house. No additional guests allowed at the property at any time (unless previously agreed upon).
-Strictly enforced noise curfew from 10PM-9AM daily.
-The pool and jacuzzi are not secured with a fence or cover. Therefore, it is not recommended to rent this house if you have children who can't swim.
-You can heat up the jacuzzi at no extra cost but the saltwater pool is NOT heated.
-Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts. We also have access to Hulu for live TV.
-This home has AC in the bedrooms only
-The fireplace in the living room is non-functional
***Beach access: Black's beach is perfect if you are looking to avoid crowds or if you are a surfer looking for some good waves. The reason why the beach is less crowded is because it is not accessible by car. You have to walk half a mile down a paved road across the street from our house. The walk back is a good workout but only takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
If you don't mind crowds (especially in the summer months) or are looking for smaller waves to surf, a 2 minute drive will take you to La Jolla Shores.
