Our home is 85 years young with original hardwood floors and even some original hardware so you may hear a creak or a squeak; however, we hope you'll appreciate the modern vintage updates.
The driveway is preserved for this lower unit. Plentiful on street parking is also available.
Enjoy a 50 inch smart ROKU television, highspeed internet, and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Window AC Units are provided during the summer months.

This suite is located on a quiet and safe block in Bagley neighborhood. Bagley Neighborhood ranks in the top 5 of Detroit's desirable neighborhoods with a lot of interesting history. It is less than 2 miles to Sinai Grace Hospital and walking distance to both Detroit Universities.
The neighborhood consists of large brick colonial and tudor style homes. Most of the neighbors are seniors and home owners. The neighborhood has come a long way, but there is still lots of ongoing gentrification occuring now and a ways to go. As of 2019, the city has built two-cycle tracks in the neighborhood, the Fashion Avenue district has been growing with many new businesses. An economic resurgence is definitely in effect slowly, but surely.
Bagley neighborhood is quiet and safe, however all of the city of Detroit can seem rough around the edges no matter where you are. You will notice some blocks are very nice and charming, yet, still find a handful of vacant homes and businesses throughout community which won't last long due to the increasing property values.
Unlike newer homes, older homes are more sound proof. Plan on getting a good nights sleep every night. You may hear sirens from time to time because of the nearby hospital, Fire station and police station.
Home Tips: Allow the water time to warm up and when it does it will get super hot.
Centrally located to all Detroit has to offer. It’s very close to Detroit’s Avenue of Fashion and several local favorite restaurants, just few minutes to Downtown Royal Oak, and just a 15 minute drive to all the casinos and scenery downtown. Ferndale is literally 5 traffic lights away taking Wyoming Road north from Curtis.
