Big Canoe, Georgia:
Mountain Time Lodge is a 4 bed, 3 1/2 bath luxury cottage located at the top of Laurel Ridge across the street from the Big Canoe Chapel and tennis courts, and a short drive or walk to the Swim Club pool and beach, swimming lake, Fitness Center, and water slides. We are a five-minute drive from the Big Canoe Golf Club and Black Bear Pub. We feature a hot tub, game room, Keurig coffee maker, and a ping pong table with two king bed bedrooms, two queen bedrooms, and two twin beds in the loft. We also have a fantastic mountain view for wonderful sunrises. You will feel truly at home and at peace for your quiet getaway to Big Canoe!

The front door opens to a great room and dining room that seats eight people. The great room has a wood fireplace, flat-screen TV, and plenty of seating. The fully furnished kitchen should have everything that you should need for cooking including a microwave, oven, stove, large refrigerator, crockpot, regular coffee pot, blender, and mixer. The master bedroom is on this main floor with a king bed and flat-screen TV. The master bath has a large tub and shower combination with grab bars for safety. A screened porch with EZ Breeze for wintertime comfort and a large back deck open off the great room on the main floor. Upstairs has a queen bed bedroom, two twin beds in the loft, and a bathroom with a tub shower combination. Downstairs has a king bed bedroom, a queen bed bedroom, a jack and jill bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a rec room with a game table and flat-screen TV. There is a large screened porch with a hot tub and ping pong table out the back door on this terrace level.

THE AREA:
Big Canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of Atlanta. There is a stock with a trout fishing lake, marina, and rental boats available. Big Canoe has over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself. You can reach us through your booking conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department.
OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 10 overnight guests. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 10 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.
RESORT-LIKE AMENITIES:
We have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis & pickleball courts, bocce courts, Jeep Trail, dog park, beach, water slide.
PARKING:
The parking pad only accommodates two cars, so please use the parking lot at the end of Laurel Ridge Trail or at the Chapel parking lot.
PET FEE:
$115/per, 2 dog max, 45 lb. limit- you are welcome to bring your pet for a nonrefundable pet fee of $100.00 per dog with a two dog limit. Dogs must be leashed at all times outside in Big Canoe and kept in crates if left in the house alone. Failure to notify of pet and pay fee is grounds for immediate eviction. Dogs are not allowed on furniture in any home. Damage caused by pet(s) brought to home, or excessive cleaning for housekeeping will be documented and billed to guest. (Cats are not allowed.)
COFFEEMAKERS:
Keurig and drip coffeemakers.
FIREPLACE:
Is wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelog or firewood.
**CLEANING PROTOCOLS** A housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations. This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is pet friendly with pet fee. :-)
GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Big Canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict No Party policy.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. Guests are responsible for the conduct of all persons in their unit.
SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.
MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am. Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.
CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees). If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest. We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
