The Cabin - The cabin has beautiful long range mountain views from every room overlooking nearby Vogel State Park, the AT, Blood Mountain and Neels Gap. Three bedrooms each with full baths. Open, roomy, two living areas, loft, decks, hot tub, fire pit, paved roads, end of road privacy.
Location - Ssh... Don't tell anyone. Blairsville is the best kept secret in North Georgia. A cute small town with great dining, shopping, festivals, lake and outdoor adventures, while avoiding the crush of tourists found at nearby Helen and Blue Ridge. Centrally located ~10 minutes to Blairsville and ~ 35 minutes, to Blue Ridge, Helen, and Hiawassee, close to the Appalachian Trail, Vogel State Park, Blood Mountain, Helton Creek Falls, and Neels Gap.
Activities Nearby - Many people come to this area to ride bicycles on the Three Gaps or Six Gaps, or ride motorcycles on the Georgia Tail of the Dragon, Hike the Appalachian Trail, or to support AT hikers, participate in adventure tail runs on the many surrounding trails. Shop antiques, vineyards, breweries, distilleries. Attend festivals and fairs or sitesee the many historical sites and waterfalls.

Loft - A great place for games, reading, and quiet time, and long range mountain views.
Hot Tub - Comfortable for 3-4 people with easy access from lower deck and long range mountain views.
Kitchen - Galley style kitchen with all new appliances. Well equipped for cooking and dining.
Dining Area - Adjacent to the kitchen and living room with good flow for socializing and hanging out.
Laundry Room - Located on the lower level.
Gravel Parking - Plenty of room for parking and turn around.
The Drive - Paved roads all the way to the driveway. The roads are a little steep in places, but not crazy steep, and widen enough for two cars to pass comfortably.
Access - You will have the whole property to yourself.
To Note - There are stairs on the property. Five steps down from the parking to the front door deck. Interior stairs are a little bit steep so care should be used. The primary bedroom with the king bed is upstairs. Hot Tub access is on the lower level, with access via inside stairs or outside stairs.
Bears are in the area. They are not a threat to humans, but it is important that trash and food not be left outside the cabin.
The cabin in a work in process. We have put our time and treasure into making a comfortable, beautiful place to spend time in the mountains. It is a bit rustic and eclectic, but that is part of it's charm that we love. We do have plans for upgrades here and there. If you see things that you think might be improved, we probably have plans to do that in the near future.
