The Grand Waikikian is a 38-story timeshare and retail development at the Hilton Hawaiian Village® Beach Resort and Spa and is the largest and most luxurious timeshare resort in Waikiki. The Grand Waikikian is operated by Hilton Grand Vacations Company and is part of Hilton Grand Vacation Club's existing 236-unit Lagoon Tower and 72-unit Kalia Tower projects at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The Grand Waikikian is built on a site adjacent to the Lagoon Tower and features 34 floors of one-bedroom and two-bedroom timeshare suites, plus an additional four floors of retail, office and guest amenity space. The top five floors of The Grand Waikikian tower are designated as exclusive penthouse levels with spectacular views, added amenities and expanded guest facilities including a private check area, concierge and lounge on the 35th floor. Summary: Vacation Candy is FABULOUS! They worked so diligently and patiently with us to find the perfect property for us. They were 100% committed to providing exceptional customer care and they did an amazing job. Timely, informative and thoughtful communication. I would highly recommend this group. One of the best customer care experiences that I have had. My mother, sister and 13 year old daughter recently stayed in this beautiful accommodation to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. It was a perfectly appointed 2 bedroom, 2 full bathroom suite. This suite was recently remodeled and redecorated with brand new state of the art appliances and beautiful modern furnishings. It was exactly what we were looking for. The layout is perfect for privacy and autonomous sleeping spaces and has a beautiful shared living room, dining and kitchen area. The unit has a balcony, fully furnished with new outdoor dining furniture. The view is identified as "garden view", but much to our pleasant surprise, we had a fantastic partial view of the ocean, beach and marina. What a sweet surprise! The amenities are 5-STAR, brand new state of the art appliances, washer/dryer, all personal hygiene products, laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, hair dryers, beach and bath towels all included. This particular unit is located in a beautiful tower a few steps away from the "hustle and bustle" of other towers. This was perfect for us. Not too far away to easily access all resort amenities, but very peaceful and a little less "hustle and bustle." Easy access to the pools . lagoon and beaches. The lagoon is an extraordinary amenity for adults and children alike. You are just steps away from the beach in the Grand Waikikian Tower. The resort offers a lot of amenities, including dining and shopping. The prices are on the higher end and the shopping is upscale. You would never need to leave the resort for anything unless you wanted to. We did some exploring off the resort properties and there were many stores, shopping and dining opportunities within walking distance from the resort. The resort is really in a perfect location if you don't want to rent a car and still access shopping and dining options. We did use UBER to go to a local craft market and it was reasonably priced one way and very expensive the other, but that is how UBER works with supply and demand. Getting an UBER was no trouble. We booked 2 "special events", a dining boat cruise and a Luau Dinner Show. I booked both these events including the transportation. I would highly recommend that you do this if offered. It was just so easy to be picked up at the resort and transported to these beautiful events, rather than trying to park or get transportation there. It's worth the money to include transportation if offered in your special event booking. The staff at the resort were professional, knowledgeable and friendly. This property was exactly what we were looking for and actually exceeded all of our expectations. I would highly recommend using Vacation Candy to assist you in finding the "perfect place" for your family and occasion. I would highly recommend this property for a family friendly or group of friends getting together. I would not recommend this property for "an intimate getaway." I prefer smaller, boutique like settings for romantic getaway's but this was PERFECT for our family's GIRLS GETAWAY. Our party ranged in ages from 13 years old to 80 years old and there was something for everyone there. We all rated this experience as a "10 out of 5"(Smile)...thank you Vacation Candy for making this family birthday dream come true! We are grateful beyond words!
