Our gorgeous four-bedroom, three and a half bath house has been updated throughout while still maintaining the historical framework of the home. Located less than 4 miles to downtown Birmingham you will have easy access to all the museums, entertainment, shopping, nightlife, restaurants, and grocery! Treat yourself to the Red Door Retreat!!
The Space:
Welcome weary traveler! Take in the spacious wraparound front porch before entering our home to see a gorgeous living room complete with original built-ins, high ceilings, and plenty of windows that set the stage for a relaxing visit. With lots of seating options and a large flat-screen TV with Roku, you are sure to enjoy relaxing with family and friends. You will find the dining room through a beautiful set of pocket doors off the living room. A large table with seating for eight is the perfect place to come together at the end of the day. The chef's kitchen overlooks a newly landscaped backyard with plenty of room to entertain or relax on the extended patio. Our kitchen comes stocked with all the comforts of home (including a Keurig and regular coffee pot), allowing you to settle in and make a meal. Downstairs guest suite with a king-size bed also has a full bath and kitchenette! Upstairs holds the master bedroom with king-size bed and bath with clawfoot tub, separate shower, and walk-in closet. Two additional generous size bedrooms, both with king-size beds, another full bath, renovated laundry room, and a library, complete the upper level of our home. We also have a futon in the main house for additional sleeping arrangements if needed.
Our backyard has an outdoor patio with a gas grill and a designated outdoor dining area. The backyard gives off a very intimate and cozy feel with mature trees and updated landscaping. Kids will love exploring the multi-level full fenced in yard! We cannot wait to host you at our home in our beautiful city!
