Beautifully situated right on the banks of the Winchuck River, this two-home property in Brookings provides unbeatable proximity to wild ocean beaches, towering redwood groves, and the famed Samuel H. Boardman State Scenic Corridor - all with a serene riverfront setting to come home to each day.
This waterfront property is composed of a three-bedroom main house and a one-bedroom guest cabin, an excellent setup for an extended family. As you step inside the main house, you'll be greeted by lofty, exposed-beam ceilings, air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer, and an open kitchen and dining space for six. The living room features comfortable sofas, a large flatscreen TV, and sliding glass doors that connect to the riverfront deck.
It's in this wonderful outdoor space that you'll spend much of your time, barbecuing on the gas grill, dining at the picnic tables, admiring the night sky from the private hot tub, or roasting marshmallows around the firepit at the water's edge. You can even pick your own apples and lemons on the grounds or fish from the riverbank and prepare your catch for dinner at the cleaning station.
After a day spent fishing, hiking, or beachcombing, you can leave your clothes to spin in the washer/dryer and take your pick of three bedrooms in the main house. In addition to those three cozy bedrooms, there's an office with its own Murphy bed.
Just a few steps from the main house is the riverfront guest cabin, offering its own covered deck, gas grill, and picnic table on the riverbank. Inside, you'll find a small-but-bright living space with an electric fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and a fully appointed kitchen with bold blue cabinetry. The cabin features one bedroom and one full bathroom as well.
